COMMISSION AN ARTWORK
I accept commission requests for your own bespoke, unique “Road Signs Re-Imagined” road sign or your own drawing or painting.
Road Signs are either on an original speed limit circular sign of 30cm, 45cm or 60cm diameter or can be on a square, rectangular or triangular road sign. You can request a speed limit of 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50mph for the round speed limit sign or a sign with wording such as “New Road Layout Ahead”, “Give Way”, “Diverted Traffic” etc. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
For a drawing or painting I require a good quality photograph of the car, ideally taken from the angle that the drawing/painting is to be based on.
Drawings are either A3 size (approx 29.7cm x 42.0cm / 11.7 × 16.5 inches) or A4 size (approx 21.0cm x 29.7cm / 8.3 × 11.7 inches), on quality, textured watercolour paper.
Paintings are in acrylic paint on either canvas paper, canvas board or stretched canvas on a wooden frame, depending on the size required and your preference.
I send regular update photographs of your artwork as it progresses.

These are 2 “Road Signs Re-Imagined” commissioned by client Tim, based on his Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Richard Attwood British Legends Edition car and his Porsche 911 Sport Classic Design Edition car, a limited-edition model by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
The original road sign for the British Legends Edition sign was a “50” mph speed limit sign. After consulting with Tim the “50” was changed to “23” to match the original racing number on the 1970 Le Mans winning Porsche 917 K driven by Richard Attwood and Hans Herrmann in Porsche Salzburg colours and the Bosch, Shell, Goodyear, Borg&Beck and S.E.V Marchal badges were added which appeared on the Le Mans Porsche 917 K.
The original road sign for the Sport Classic sign was a “50” mph speed limit sign. After consulting with Tim the bonnet stripes on his car were added to the border of the sign, the “50” was altered to “60” to match the decal on his car and the Porsche Heritage, Exclusive Manufaktur, 911 Sport Classic and 276/1250 badges were added.
