"50" mph speed limit road sign, re-imagined in BMW M Sport colours

£300.00

This is a genuine, de-commissioned “50” mph speed limit Road Sign hand-painted in the colours of BMW M Sport and then aged to show some of the original colours and reflective parts of the original road sign underneath.

It measures approx. 22.5 inches square / 57.5cm square.

BMW M GmbH is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures performance cars. It was founded in 1972 with just 35 employees. The “M” stands for Motorsport. It’s first racing project was the BMW 3.0 CSL and it’s first official M badged car for sale to the public was the M1 in 1978.

M badged cars usually have modified engines, transmissions, suspension, aerodynamics and exterior and interior trims.

The dark blue stripe was originally purple, the 3 stripes leaning against the M are intended to emphasize the speed and dynamism of the BMS W series.
