This is a genuine, de-commissioned “Congestion Charge” with Camera road Sign hand-painted in the colours of the 2003 Le Mans Bentley Speed 8 and then aged to show some of the original colours and reflective parts of the original road sign underneath.
It measures approx. 21.5 × 13.75 inches / 55 × 35cm.
In 2003 the number 8 Team Bentley Speed 8 won the LMGTP (Grand Touring Prototype) class at the 24 hours of Le Mans race. In it’s distinctive green and black livery it was driven by Guy Smith, Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo Capello, covering 377 laps at an average speed of 214.33 km/h, having started from pole.
