This is a genuine, de-commissioned “20” mph Speed Camera Road Sign hand-painted in James Hunt’s helmet colours and then aged to show some of the original colours and reflective parts of the original road sign underneath.
It measures approx. 28 × 16.5 inches / 72 × 42cm.
James Hunt’s crash helmet design was based on the blue, yellow and red stripes on a black background of his Wellington College colours. He won the 1976 Formula 1 Drivers Championship in his McLaren M23D.
